The tile case is *almost* indestructible. It comes with a triangular key to pry open the case. I got this to use as a tracking device for my dog, but the case covers the back where the QR code is, so it wouldn’t be helpful for anyone that finds her.

The attached carabiner is a heavy duty metal. When I put this on my small dog, it’s so big and heavy, it looked like a fifth leg. She froze in confusion. After a while, she layed down and tried to chew it off. So if using for pets, it’s probably best for larger dogs.

It would be great for backpacks or tracking luggage, and anything that’s heavy.

What i dislike is the keychain that goes in the hole at top of case was really hard to put through the hole. I had to pry it open. So now there is a space in key chain . I really hope it doesnt fall off.

won’t fit the Tile Pro or the Samsung Smart Tag

I got this case for my Tile Pro. However, I didn’t look at the shape of the Tile Pro carefully. Needless to say, this cover will NOT fit the Tile Pro. It won’t fit the Samsung Smart Tag either. I won’t deduct any stars for my mistake. Anyway, get this product if you need it for the original Tile Mate.

A tool is provided so that you can pry apart the case. then just slip in your correctly sized Tile Mate. Then, just snap it back together. Instructions are provided.
